The Block 2025 Location:
In 2023, it was announced that The Block (2024) would be located at 1-9 Raglan Street, Daylesford. Due to council planning delays, this could not proceed and the season was changed to Phillip Island. However, in July 2024, it was announced that The Block would return in 2025 at 1-9 Raglan Street, Daylesford, Victoria. For updates, please follow our Instagram www.instagram.com/theblock2025fans

The 2025 logo has been revealed on the side of one of the contestants MG cars! It includes trees, a pavlilion style home and cute flowers!

Hosts & Judges:
Darren Palmer, Shaynna Blaza and Marty Fox have returned as judges in 2025! Scott Cam will be the host for 2025, alongside Shelley Craft.
Block Tipping Competition 2025:
In 2024, we ran a 'Tipping Competition' through our Facebook Fan Group where fans could participate guessing the winners each week and earning points for each correct guess. We will be running this again in 2025, so stay tuned for sign up details over at our Facebook group!
Filming Begins!
Filming began on Friday, 7 March 2025! The constestants arrived at 1 Raglan Street, Daylesford, VIC where Scott Cam was ready to meet them! After a quick tour around, they appeared to be off to their first challenge at the 'Chillout Fest' in Daylesford. They were tasked with designing a trailer float which they all drove into the festival. This might have been a house decider challenge? On Sunday, 9 March 2025 the contestants all rode their floats through the parade which looked like lots of fun!! You can see photos of this over at our Instagram and Facebook group.
The Houses
The houses that the 2025 contestants will be tackling are unlike any block home before! They are pavilion style, off-grid, fully sustainable homes on a considerable block of land each. Here are photos below of how they look so far prior to filming commencing. The Block 2025 houses are pavilion style houses with 5-6 bedrooms each, 3-4 bathrooms, a pool and guest studio.
New photos have emerged of the new The Block 2025 site with sources stating that the new season will be built as part of a new housing development in Daylesford, VIC.The site for The Block was sold to the Nine Network for an undisclosed amount. The 5 houses for Season 21 will be built at the front of the land, with the land behind The Block apparently to be for sale. More information will be to come!
The designs for the houses have also reportedly changed slightly with all of the houses to not look the same externally with some flat roofing and some pitched.

Filming Delayed:
The Block 2025 was originally scheduled to begin filming in early February, with casting applications closing in November 2024. However there has been a delay in casting as detailed below with filming to now begin in early to mid - March.
“And the reason for the hold up? Our source revealed that producers are less-than-enamoured with the crop of contestants who applied for the show's 21st season.”
“They claimed casting producers have been in crisis meetings with Nine executives this week because they are so far unhappy with the presented line-up for 2025.”
“'There are desperate measures being made to get the show right for the next series,' the source said.”
“The source said Nine was interested in attracting 'older and wiser' contestants for 2025, in a bid to move away from on screen drama that has become a fixture on the show in recent seasons.”

The Block 2026:
Rumours have been swirling that The Block may be moving from Victoria in 2026, with some rumouring that The Block is looking into Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast in Queensland as a potential location. This is yet to be confirmed by The Block.
It's lights, camera, action on The Block 2025! The cast of Season 21 have arrived on Friday 7 March morning, arriving at the front of the site in front of House 1. More details will be coming through very shortly as well as photos and contestants names. Stay tuned for more, which will be added to this post.
